We are always happy to hear from readers, whether you have a question, a correction, or a suggestion for a bookmaker we should review.
How to reach us
You can email us at Danny@bestbookiesuk.co.uk and we will reply as soon as we can. Please put something useful in the subject line so it does not sit in a spam folder, and include the page you are writing about if your message is about a specific review.
What we are glad to hear about
- Corrections. Offers, payment methods and terms change constantly, and a note from a reader is often how we find out first. If something on the site is out of date or wrong, please tell us.
- Bookmakers we have missed. If you use a UK licensed site we do not cover, let us know and we will look at it.
- Questions about our reviews. If a verdict does not make sense to you, ask. If we cannot explain it, that is our problem and not yours.
- Feedback on the site itself. Broken links, pages that do not display properly on your phone, anything that makes the site harder to use.
What we cannot help with
We are not a bookmaker and we have no access to your betting account, so there are things we simply cannot do:
- Account problems. Verification delays, closed accounts, restricted stakes or bonus disputes are all matters for the bookmaker.
- Withdrawals and payments. We cannot chase a payment or see where it has got to.
- Bet settlement disputes. If you disagree with how a bet has been settled, the bookmaker decides that in the first instance.
- Tips or selections. We do not give them and we would not trust anyone who does.
Where to take a complaint
If you have a problem with a bookmaker, the order is straightforward:
- Complain to the bookmaker first, in writing, through its own complaints process. Every UK licensed operator must have one.
- Escalate to an approved dispute resolution service if you are not satisfied. Licensed bookmakers must tell you which service covers them, and using it is free to you.
- The Gambling Commission regulates the industry and takes reports about operator conduct, though it does not settle individual disputes.
Before you write to us
A couple of things will get you a faster and more useful reply:
- Tell us which page you mean. A link or the page title saves us guessing, particularly on reviews that cover a dozen bookmakers.
- Say where you saw the correct information. If a bookmaker has changed a minimum deposit or pulled an offer, a link to its own page lets us verify and update in minutes rather than days.
- Do not send account details. We never need your username, password, card details or any part of them, and we will delete anything of that kind that arrives.
Responsible gambling
If your gambling has stopped being enjoyable, please do not write to us and wait for a reply. Free, confidential help is available immediately, and our responsible gambling page sets out where to find it.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly will you reply?
As soon as we can. We are a small site rather than a support desk, so please allow a few days before chasing.
Do you accept guest posts or link requests?
No. We do not publish content written by others and we do not sell links.
I am a bookmaker and something on your page about us is wrong.
Send us the correction with a link to the page on your own site that shows it, and we will update ours. We source from operator pages, so if a page has changed we would like to know.
